Real time data (or close to real time)
As I understand it, to get a real time report, I either need to use Direct Query or a Live connection. I am already leaning toward the Live connection and not Direct Query. To accomplish near real time reporting using a live connection, does this mean I need to be using analysis services (with a gateway to use the PBI service)?
