Re Incremental refresh

Hi,

I have configured incremental refresh for my report, and wondering if it is possible to append rows within the range period, after the range end date.

Example:

Incremental refresh settings are set to : 12 months to store data and 30 days to refresh data.

For the above scenario, record ranked 4 is extracted in today's run. Will that record be appened to the existing table ? Though the date is within the range, I assume it wont since the data is only refreshed and not appended within that range. Please cnfirm my understanding. 

Note: Range is set in Date/time format, ignore the format in the screenshot.

Yes that will be appended to the existing fact table.

IF you are unsure you could always refresh the last 2 days to make sure you capture any late arriving records.
