RLS working in Desktop, not in Service

Hi,

I am using a RLS with USERPINCIPALNAME() formula. The role works properly on desktop (instead of USERPINCIPALNAME() I'd put the email address of a specific user to test). However the user sees everything on the published version. I have this problem for only one user (so far).

How's that possible? This user is NOT a workspace member.

Thanks.

It is possible that the user is accessing the published report through a direct link, rather than accessing it through the workspace where the RLS has been applied. If the user has access to the report through a direct link or shared link, then the RLS may not be applied to their view of the report.

To ensure that the RLS is applied, the user should access the report through the workspace where the RLS has been applied. Additionally, it's important to make sure that the RLS has been applied correctly, and that the user's email address or UPN is correctly entered in the RLS formula.

If the issue persists, it may be helpful to review the user's permissions and access levels to ensure that they are correctly configured.

Best regards,
