Hi @HFT
A1 SKU is part of the legacy Power BI Premium model, suited for basic workloads but with limited scalability and features. It offers lower upfront costs but is being deprecated. In contrast, the F64 SKU is part of the modern Microsoft Fabric platform, supporting unified analytics across Power BI, Lakehouse, and more. It delivers higher performance, better scalability, and improved cost efficiency.

Yes, Thank you for the response and would like to know how to automate the embed token generation for 50 users.
Hi @HFT ,
To automate the generation of embed tokens for 50 users in Power BI, you can use the Power BI REST API.

Hi,
Should I consider going with A1 sku capacity or Fabric F64 capacity for Integrating the power BI in our Organization app.

The Azure sales support team recommended using the F64 SKU instead of A1, stating that F64 is more cost-effective. They also mentioned that the A1 SKU will be phased out, and we will need to rely on Fabric capacities moving forward. This has left me uncertain about which license I should choose.

Hi @v-aatheeque
what if I have 50 users and i have Embed A1 capacity will that be enough or should I opt for more bigger capacity, please help
Hi @HFT ,
The suitability of Power BI Embedded A1 capacity for 50 users depends on factors like report complexity, dataset size, and how often users access the reports. A1 capacity offers 1 virtual core and 3 GB of RAM, making it suitable for lightweight use cases.
For 50 users, start with A1 only if usage is light. Upgrade to A2 or A3 if reports are complex or multiple users access concurrently.

PPU capacity in the sense, the RLS report should be either in Power BI Embedded (A-SKU) or (P-SKU) right? only with PPU we cannot integrate the RLS report in any public web application.
Hi @HFT ,
Yes you are right ,To integrate a Power BI report with RLS into a public web application, you must use Power BI Embedded (A-SKU) or Power BI Premium (P-SKU).
PPU supports RLS within the Power BI service but doesn’t provide the embedding capabilities for public web applications.

Since using PPU, it the report is backed by the PPU capacity, all report viewers will require PPU licences

@HFT ,
Yes, it won't incur additional costs. You can use the Power BI JavaScript API (Power BI Client SDK) and use the Embed URL to acheive this.
