RLS not same than report filter

Hello, 

How is it possible that a RLS filter on one field doesnt give the same result as if I select manually the filter on my report?
When I select "view as" : it doesn't update on each visual while it's doing it with the manual filter.

Hi @Aroth,

Where did you use "view as", in desktop or service? How did you define the role? If you use the UseName() to define the role, please note username() will return a user in the format of DOMAIN\User in desktop, while email address in service. See: Using the username() DAX function.

Based on my test, the role works fine both in desktop and service.
