Hi there,
I have created various reports in Power BI Desktop and uploaded them to a Premium Capacity Workspace in Power BI Service. RLS has been applied for some of these reports (both within desktop and within roles in service) and works seamslessly. However, we are currently moving all of our reports over to differing SharePoint sites to improve ease of access.
When I embed the reports in SharePoint Online, it appears other people within the organisation that are not within the RLS roles and do not have permission to view the report in service can view all of the data whilst according to microsoft docs they shouldn't even have access to the report.
Can someone help with this, am I missing something? The person who tested this for me has admin permissions in the SharePoint site - could this be the reason why?
Thanks
Hi there,
Yes. These people are definitely not members of the workspace.

How did you establish that they "do not have permission to view the report in service"? Can you doublecheck that these folks are not Member or above in the Power BI workspace?
