RLS applied to Subscription in PPU

Hi Everyone, Is Role Level Security applicable to subscription mails in PPU? can any one help me .         Thanks in advance

Hey Anonymous ,

 

yes, even if you subscribe other users to a report, the subscription is executed with the user's access. So RLS will also work as if the user is opening the report.

Be aware that RLS anyway doesn't take effect for users with Admin, Member or Contributor roles.

 

As the docu mentions:

  • For paginated and Power BI report email subscriptions, if the dataset uses row-level security (RLS), you can create subscriptions for yourself and others. Those subscriptions will run using your security context.

Hi @selimod,

Actually RLS is  applied to subscription mail when we are into power bi service,but in subscription mail the user is getting visuals with out RLS.Can you please help me.
