RAM required to run Power Bi on a Android Tablet

Hi there,

Our clients are currently all running on Power Bi reports on their tables using the service. In oder to improve their urser experience I need to also test on a tablet (layout, spacing, button sizes etc.).

Is there min specification for a device like a tablet running andriod?

Busy looking at a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 10.4" (T505) with 3GB RAM size and 2GH CPU speed.

I'm just worried the device will not have sufficient capacity for a smooth experience in the Power BI app or the Browser.

Does anyone have an idea?

Kind Regards,

Hi @Axiomite ,

There doesn't seem to be much of a condition set for running powerbi on such a device. Refer to the following related documentation.

Power BI View Dashboard & Report on Mobile, Tab, PC - DataFlair (data-flair.training)

Best Regards,
Henry

@Axiomite Well, if the Android version is similar to Windows 10 version of Power BI mobile app, the minimum is 3GB:

Get the Power BI mobile app for Windows 10 from the Windows Store. Your device must run Windows 10. The app can run on devices with at least 3-GB RAM and 8-GB internal storage
