R visual error in powerbi service
Hi, I'm trying to use RODBC connecting sql server to pass parameter into table through PowerBI. It worked in desktop, however after published into PowerBI Service, it showed Script Runtime Error....
I‘ve submitted a ticket and received a response. When the R script attempts to connect to the data source, it initiates a network request. However, network requests from R scripts are prohibited in Power BI service, so it is not possible to connect to the data source and pass parameters through the R script.

Super UserYou must use a personal gateway, the gateway must be running, and the required packages must be installed on the PC where the gateway is running.
