Question: Tutorial: From Excel workbook to a report in the Power BI service to Microsoft Teams

Dear Friends

I am studying Powe BI and following the tutorial as captioned. 

My question is why cannot generate the dataset of "Financial Sample" when i upload the workbook to PowerBI service? 

Must it install PowerBI desktop or other procedures I missed? 

Much appriciated if anyone can give me a answer. Thanks.

Hi  @BruceLei ,

According to the official restrictions, Power BI Service to load Excel workbooks does not need to go through Power BI Desktop, but you need to format the data as a table first.

On the Home tab, in the Styles group, select Format as Table.
