Querying Composite Models with Excel

I have a composite model dataset, with my inventory data using import mode and my sales data using direct query. In a conventional report I can create a visualisation on the sales & inventory data but when I use Analyse in Excel I get an error (images below) when I try an use a measure from the sales / direct query data (but inventory / import model data works fine)

So my question is - can you use Analyse in Excel features with a Composite Model? I don't see any mention of this in the documentation so I am not sure

yes you can, chek:

- if the dataset model you trying to access have the build on in option avaible, conection for a excel can be denied on the model permits itselfs.

- the user that you are log on in the excel have access to the model, if you logging with a user that doesnt ahve licence or permit if wont refresh.

@StefanoGrimaldi thanks for the tip. I forgot to mention I'm an admin on the workspace (and I believe that grants me all rights on its dataset).  Am I missing something?
