Query user error in embedded power BI D365

Hi,

I have done some customisations in the queries of the standard  report, then when I try to open the BI report it is showling the Data for all entities where as in standard it is showing only the current user in MS D365.

To fix the above i have created a role as below

After this change now when I open the Embedded BI report in D365 data is filtering on the current entity but getting below error

Hi ,

Thanks for the reply.

I could not see where can I set the permissions.
And I think I need some other solution for my issue as well because I could see there are some other issues if I am using the below username() filter to  show the data for the current company.

Could you please suggest any other way to do this

My requirement is as below:

I took a standard purchase analysis power BI report and did some query changes . When  I open the customised report in D365 it shows the data for all companies whereas in standard it is showing for the current company.

Could you please suggest how we can show the data for the current entity in the customised report .

Hi @revathik ,

You could try to adjust permission as the following article tells(Make sure that the user has now both Viewer and Build permissions on the Base dataset):

Wish it is helpful for you!
