Hi,
I have applied query reduction settings on desktop ( single apply button for filters). and published to service. But when I create a new report on the same dataset the apply button is not visible. This feature is only for reports created through pbi desktop?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi. Yes, it's only a Power Bi Desktop feature. At the end of the day, it's a better practice to always create reports from Desktop because you have a source file that can be saved at a version control environment. You can get data from the Power BI semantic model, then change the setting you want for the file. Once published, it will be the same as created at cloud.
I hope that helps
