I am trying to have the query paRAmeters created in the Desktop report appear in the settings of the published report. However it is saying:
The date field is date/time, so I am not sure what I am missing - any ideas (please)?
Hi @MattMcMillin_71 ,
t looks like you have defined parameters in your Power BI Desktop model, but they are not showing up in the Power BI service when you publish your report. This may be caused by a number of factors, such as incorrect publishing settings or a mismatch between your Power BI Desktop version and the Power BI service version.
To ensure that your parameters are published correctly, you should check the following:
Make sure that you have enabled parameter loading in the "Options" menu of the "Power Query Editor" in Power BI Desktop.
When publishing your report, ensure that you have selected the "Include Selected Parameters" option in the "Advanced" tab of the "Publish to Power BI" dialog box.
Check that the Power BI Desktop version you are using is compatible with the Power BI service version you are publishing to.
If you have already checked these settings and are still having trouble, you may want to try publishing the report to a different workspace
