    Hi angusmenterlw

You may need to create a security group in Azure Active Directory in the Azure Portal.

Add the manager and member into this security group.

Then turn on the option: Allow service principals to use read-only Power BI admin APIs (Preview) in Tenant Setting.

Add your security group in sepcific security groups to apply them use this function.

If you want to use admin portal, you need to be power bi admin or global admin.

For more details about  assigning Purview glossary terms to Power BI content , you may refer to this blog:

Register and scan Power BI tenants (Preview)

      HI Rico

Thanks. We have now got that integration working and can associate glossary terms to references to Power BI content.

For a Power BI user wanting to view the glossary terms related to a report they are viewing what is the expected workflow? Do they need to go to Purview and look the report up?

      Thanks

      Angus

        Hi angusmenterlw

You can try report page tooltips. You could create a tooltip page and create a visual including the glossary.

Then you could add the tooltip when you create a visual, the business glossary will show on the tooltip when you hover over on the visuals.

For more details you can refer to this blog:  Report Tooltip Pages
