Pulsing Power Bi icon after hitting sign in on embedded report

I have embedded a report on the company’s intranet. For the majority of users it works completely fine.
However for some they just get an endless pulsing Power Bi icon after pressing login in.
Security and permission all appears to be correct.

I may have found the answer. If the user is using Internet Explorer then the first time they hit "Sign-In" they will get endless pulsing bars. If they then refresh the screen then the report will display.

Workaround = use Edge or Chrome.

I am using Google Chrome and this issue still occurs the sign in page continues to pulsate unless the page is refreshed in which after clicking sign in the report will load data.

Hi @Aden ,

Have you checked the user's license, are they assigned a license ? Are they using a Trial License or Free License?

After the user has signed in, the embedded report opens, showing the data and allowing page navigation and filter setting. Only users who have view permission can see the report in Power BI. All row-level security (RLS) rules are also applied. Lastly, the user needs to be correctly licensed – either they need a Power BI Pro or Premium Per User (PPU) license, or the report must be in a workspace that is in a Power BI Premium capacity. The user needs to sign in each time they open a new browser window. However, once signed in, other reports load automatically.

For more details, you can refer to:

Thanks @v-xiaoyan-msft

All users have E5 so license should be ok for viewing content. And it works for most just not all.

They can also view other repots in the same workspace just not this one particular embedded report.
