Publishing is complete. However, we couldnot refresh your dataset

HI,

 

When I publishing the report it showing , Publishing is complete. However, we couldnot refresh your dataset. Please manually refresh your dataset in the service or schedule refresh. 

I cleared the cashe in .pbix file, also edit permission in data source even it doesnt work. But if i change .pbix file name it publishing promtly. but Idont want this way as  it will change the url of  the report/app 

 

Any Idea?

What are you connecting to? Sharepoint, I assume?
Try the following options:

 

1. Try editing the credentials to clear that connection.

2. Create a blank file with the same name and upload that. Then re-upload the correct report file.

 

Otherwise you might need to break those links. It's a great example of why we should use Apps instead of report links!
