Publishing a Power BI Map to web
ArcGIS is not supported for Publish to Web, which is needed for the project I am working on. Is Bing Maps supported on Publish to Web, and if so, can Bing Maps plot geocoordinates from an imported Excel dataset?

Yes, Map visual is supported in Publish to Web feature. You can get data from Excel file, and add a map visual to display data follow this article: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/power-bi-map-tips-and-tricks

I asked the Power BI team on Twitter and got as a reply:
"Thanks for reaching out, Noemi. It seems that ArcGIS is not available for Publish to web or Embedded scenarios at this time: http://msft.social/BSnBcn. However, you can request a change for this feature through here: http://msft.social/DMi0MA . Best regards!"
I will try where the limitations are :)
