Published report not appearing in updated app

I have published a report, successfully. Then, I try to update the app to include this report, on the (2) Content tab. I am able to add the report to the content list/index. Yes, I'm aware that it must be set to "visible", and not hidden, as in the post below. It is set to visible. Everything looks normal under 'Audience', and the app updates normally, with a notification and a link.

However, when I view the app, the new report is unavailable. I have looked for anything that may be preventing it, and can find nothing. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate it.

This does not appear to be the problem:

This post appears to refer to the same issue, which is not the problem:

Hi @joglidden2

have you wait for 30mins just in case there is a delay with the Power BI Service?

Do you know if there is a proxy server which could be causing caching?

Does this happen for one App  or all Apps?

I have not experienced this myself in the past!

Gold star for you @GilbertQ .
Yeah, I guess I just need to be more patient. But the message is misleading, in my defense. After updating, you immediately get a success message and a link to the app.

Yeah for  sure. It often just works as soon as you click on the link!
