Published paginated report is unable to connect synapse on-demand sql database

Hi,

  I am developing a paginated report by directly connecting to Azure Synapse Analytics' on-demand SQL databases. 

As you see see, I am making a direct connection locally, and Test Connection works just fine with a service sql authentication. 

The problem is that once I publish the report, I see a following error.

Is there any configurations that I have to set up in order to establish a connection between Azure Synapse Analytics and a published Power BI paginated report?

Any hits would be appreciated!!

For Azure SQL Database data sources, you need to supply more information, as described in the Azure SQL Database Authentication section.

From the prompt, you can check that your gateway \ credentials are correct, and if they work locally, consider authentication methods and credentials and gateways if errors occur after public.

If you don't supply any credentials, an error occurs when you run the report. Select Continue to go to the Data source credentials page for the report you just uploaded:

i am facing some connectivity issue  while Im connecting from Power Report builder to Synapse. Can you please help me in this. is there any checks require? I am power bi Pro User.

@Gopal_PV try configuring credentials before you build the connection in 'general' tab.
