Published Power BI report no longer showing all data from SharePoint List

Hello everyone,

I created a report that pulls the data from a SharePoint List that I created for product specifications.

I set it up using a Text Search Slicer, so all I have to do is enter a product ID and the related data will generate onto the report.

Since I've published it, I have been using this report as a spec generator and it has been work very well.

Yesterday, I tried using the report and found that it is only showing the first entry on the SharePoint List. For any other product ID that I enter, the fields show up as blank; but I know there is data for the product ID.

I checked the permission and the SharePoint List and everything appears to be connected and present.

I then opened the desktop app and checked the report there. When I use the report on the desktop app, all of the data will generate.

Will someone please help me determine what is causing this?

Hi @HXM001, I have the same issue i.e., no amount of refreshing can make the Power BI report shows the latest data. What helps, however, is the 'Refresh Visual' icon on top right corner when you view the report. After you click it, the report will show the most updated data. Not the ideal solution, but definitely a workaround.

Hi, @HXM001

Power BI reports published online rely on scheduled or manual data refreshes to stay up to date. If the data doesn't refresh correctly, the most recent entry in the SharePoint list might not be displayed. Check the data refresh settings in the Power BI service and make sure they're configured correctly. Try manually refreshing the data source in the Power BI service and see if the issue persists. There might be an issue with the text search slicer you're using. Make sure it's configured correctly and doesn't inadvertently filter out the data you want to see.
