Publish to web (public) from shared workspace not working

When using Publish to web (public) from My Workspace i can create the embed codes with no problem. However when I try to create an embed code for a report in a shared Workspace it will not create the embed code.

It shows the option and I get all the informational messages. However when I click Publish in the second screen it just briefly shows a waiting sign in the bottom left with creating embed code and then nothing happens. I checked the and it just stays at the second screen.

I checked the Embed Codes through the Admin portal, but it is not created there. If I check the data flow in Fiddler I see that i get an 401 Unauthorized response from

The account i'm using is a Tenant admin and has a Pro license. It also has admin rights on the Workspace. In the Tenant settings the Publish to web is enabled, including new codes.

The report is a live connect to a dataset in another workspace and does not have any measures created in the report itself. If I move the dataset and report to My Workspace I can create the embed code.

Does anyone have an idea why I cannot create the embed code from the shared Workspace?

It was because the dataset and the report were in a different workspace. After moving both to the same workspace it worked again.
