I have created a report and published it to the service, after that I have used the 'publish to web' option and generated a link.
Now I have updated my PBI Desktop file and published to the service again which is updated now, but the 'publish to web' link still shows my old report and has not updated it.
What can I do to get the report updated on the 'publish to web' link ASAP.
Thank you,
Vishesh Jain

@Seth_C_Bauer Thanks for your reply.
Yes I do know that it exposes my data to the web and also that it refreshes every hour, however I was looking for a faster solution.
Anyways, I have already explored everything that you said, hence there is no other solution, until microsoft comes up with one.
Thank you,

@mail2vjj nothing. The Publish to Web feature updates about an hour after you refresh the report in the Service. There is not method to refresh it faster. I spose you could delete and re-create the link, but that would be tedious.
FYI - This method exposes your data to the web and is not secure, but I assume you know that.
Hi @Seth_C_Bauer,
Good day.
I'm facing the something similar here but my published report is not even update after one hour.
I’ve created a report in Power BI Desktop with the data source coming from the web (OneDrive). My OneDrive file is set to auto-update every 15 minutes. After publishing the report to Power BI Service, I configured a scheduled refresh for the report semantic model to be update every 3 hours. The report updates as expected during each scheduled refresh in my Power BI Service.
However, after publishing the report to the web (public), the data does not update at all until I manually refresh the browser. Is there a way for the report to be automatically updated?
