Hi,
When I want to publish a dashboard online, nothing happens. No error message but also no url.
The dashboard is made in desktop version and is being updated through a direct query using a gateway.
If I want to publish a dashboard with imported data it works.
So there is clearly a problem with the direct query version.
Thx
Hi @BrentDC
This is a known limitation with "Publish to web",
from the documentation....
Publish to web is supported for the vast majority of data sources and reports in the Power BI service. However, the following kinds of reports aren't currently supported or available with Publish to web:
you can find out more (including many other limitations) here : Publish to web from Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
As you've found Import mode will work, and that would seem to be your best option.
Hope this helps
Stuart
Hi,
Oké, that's crap.
If I share this dashboard with a colleague, he can also open it, but the data is not shown. Is there a solution for this?
The problem is that this data is pushed from the CRM and cannot be imported through an import function.
Thx
