Providing access to users within an organisation

Hi,

After assiging various roles to users within the organsiation via Row Level Security, I granted access to them as either 'Viewers' or 'Members' in the Power Bi service. While the 'Members' are able to view the reports perfectly, the 'Viewers' are not. This is despite the fact that license has been arranged for all of them.

Regards,

Musa

Hi @GilbertQ  Its all working now. I actually had my dataset in one workspace and the final report in another. That is what was causing the issue. Thanks for your help.

Hi @musafasih

What is happening are the users view blank data in the reports or if you could be more specific on the error?

Hi @musafasih

Have you also put the users into the relevant security roles in the Power BI Service?

You have to right click on the dataset, then security

And then under the role put in the relevant users or groups
