Producing a multi-page dashboard from a report?
Is it possible to create a dashboard which has multiple pages from the associated report?
I want to use this to lock down the report in dashboard form and share without any requirement for viewers to have to signin to any service. Also open to alternative suggestions to achieve this.
Hi. I'm not sure I get the login sentence. The item dashboard is a single board that can contain visualizations of many reports and pages. You can pin from any report and page of the same workspace inside the board. You manage what you want to show in there as a consolidation of visuals. Remember to pin considering that the visual will remember the filters. If you pin with a filter year =2024. Then at 2025 it won't show data and it can't be edited. You should delete that one and create it again.
As an alternative you can pin whole pages at dashboards. I don't recommend that because it confuses the users and doesn't make sense to give them such things in a big board. The users experience is not very good using it like that.
If you want to prevent user clicking a visual in the dashboard and open the report (default behaviour), edit the tile and add as custom url the same dashboard url. That way it will keep at the same page when clicking (some browsers will refresh web and others stay there).
I hope that helps,
