Problems refreshing files with combining tables

I'm having problems (only online service, offline works well) refreshing files with combining tables. All sources are Sheets.

This is the error:

{"error":{"code":"ModelRefresh_ShortMessage_ProcessingError","pbi.error":{"code":"ModelRefresh_ShortMessage_ProcessingError","parameters":{},"details":[{"code":"Message","detail":{"type":1,"value":"Information is needed in order to combine data"}}],"exceptionCulprit":1}}} Table: table_name.

Hi @bi_babel-azza ,

Please download the report and open it in Power BI desktop, go to Query Editor, refresh data to see if any message pops out. Also please go to the Data Source Settings, click on Edit Permission for these two data sources points to two databases, ensure both privacy level is Organizational.

Then republish the report to Power BI service, go to Manage Gateways, ensure Privacy Level for these two SQL data sources is Organizational as well. Then refresh the dataset again.

You can also refer the following simliar issues that hope to help you:

  1. Refresh error message: Information is needed in order to combine data
  2. Refresh error: Reason: PrivacySetting - "Information is needed in order to combine data"
  3. Power BI service - Information is needed in order to combine data Table

Yingjie Li

DAX is easy, CALCULATE makes DAX hard...

The link shows a problem with date filter, not my case.

I'm trying to open a support ticket, but even been a Pro user it is not allowing me, it is saying that I need a Premier ID (never asked that before).
