Problems getting data from streaming API in Reports even though Streaming Tiles are working

Hi All,

I have been trying to make reports using streaming dataset but data isn't getting stored in dataset. I have been facing this issue for more than a week now. Data which I am sending via API is getting displayed in tiles and line charts on my dashboard. I have historic data enabled and I have double checked all my settings yet the data isn't getting stored.

Kindly help in resolving this issue as I am using PBI in production environment.

Thanks in advance.

hi, @Anonymous

Modeling is not possible on a streaming dataset, since the data is not stored permanently.

Please refer to this document:

Hi Lin,

Though data isn't getting stored permanently, I should be able to see data present in cache, as I was able to see that data earlier and perform modelling on it. Now there is no data in dataset.

I am trying to figure out whether the bug was when I was able to see it in data set and perform modelling or its a bug now that I don't see any data at all.

Karandeep
