Problems displaying reports (dates and times) after adding a new gateway2 and creating a cluster.
Good morning, and thank you in advance.
It turns out we had only one gateway (Spanish OS and Spanish regional settings), and our reports were working correctly.
Then we added another gateway2 (English OS) and created a cluster.
Then the problems started to appear.
Reports fail to refresh because they expect the date dd/MM/yyyy and receive MM/dd/yyyy.
And in others, even though they update correctly, they display numerical values with the wrong decimal separator and add incorrect zeros to the result.
Despite changing the regional and numerical settings on gateway2 to Spanish, the problem still persists.
If we disable gateway2 from the cluster, everything returns to normal.
On the other hand, if we update the reports directly only on the gateway2 machine, no errors are displayed.
But if we upload it to the Power BI service and add Gateway2 back to the cluster, the aforementioned errors reappear.
Has anyone had this experience?
Any information would be helpful.
Best regards!!!

Hi juliobrito Try these please
- Match regional settings (language, date, decimal) on both gateways.
- Verify and update regional settings in Manage Gateways on Power BI Service.
- Set the original gateway as primary in the cluster for consistency.
- Ensure reports use the correct Spanish formats and republish them.
- Test Gateway2 separately to confirm the issue is not with the cluster itself.

Hello, unfortunately the problem persists and has worsened.
I've followed the instructions provided, but the error persists.
I suspect that somehow the Power BI service is using the En-en regional setting.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi juliobrito
Thank you for reaching out microsoft fabric community forum.
As Akash_Varuna mentioned check the Windows regional settings on Gateway2 (intl.cpl) and make sure everything—date format, decimal separator, etc.—is set to Spanish (Spain). After making changes, restart the On-premises Data Gateway service. First, double-check the Windows regional settings on Gateway2 (intl.cpl) and make sure everything—date format, decimal separator, etc.—is set to Spanish (Spain). After making changes, restart the On-premises Data Gateway service. Also, check which account the gateway service is running under (services.msc). If it’s using a different user, log in as that user and update the regional settings there too.

Hello again.
I've tried each of the recommended steps, but unfortunately the problem persists.
Could you please send me more details on this point: "Verify and update regional settings in Manage Gateways on Power BI Service."
Our service doesn't include any specific regional settings, only the language labels.
I'll be attentive to your feedback or any other suggestions.
Thank you in advance. - AnonymousNot applicable

Hello.
We've initially resolved the issue.
As I mentioned at the beginning, the server's original operating system was in English.
And although we had configured it to Spanish in our section, the reports were failing.
The main problem was that the Power BI service runs
under the NT Service/PBIEgwService account, and it was being configured in English.
The solution we tried was to change the service account to our Spanish user account.
And so the gateway was running with the Spanish configuration.
Thank you for your support, and I hope my comments are helpful to the community.
