Problems after Power BI Service Update last year
After one of the last updates of Power BI Service in 2024, we have problems creating a paginated report directly from the Power BI Portal from a semantic model. We always receive the error message shown below.
However, the error only occurs when we are in the company network. If we go to another computer outside the company network, the whole thing works without any problems.
We have already tried switching off the firewall in the company network. However, this did not help. The only difference we could recognise is that in the browser's security settings, the setting for preventing tracking is set to strict. On the computer outside the network, the setting is only set to balanced. Could this lead to the error listed below? Or has anyone else experienced the same problem and found a solution?
Many thanks in advance for feedback

Hi OCMOH,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
It looks like the issue seems to be network-related, as the problem only occurs when connected to the company network and not outside of it. As pborah already responded to your query, please go through it. Also below are a few steps that may help resolve the issue:
* Check if the browser’s tracking prevention is set to Strict, it may be blocking necessary authentication cookies or scripts required by Power BI.
* Also check if your company’s network security policies might be blocking required Power BI services.
I would also take a moment to thank pborah, for actively participating in the community forum and for the solutions you’ve been sharing in the community forum. Your contributions make a real differenc

I have passed the information on to our IT department and I am waiting to hear back. Unfortunately, I am not able to change the setting in the security settings myself.
regards
