I have a semantic model that is populated, through MySQL, using On-premises gateway.
I added a column to a table in MySQL, but it does not appear in PowerBI Online.
Has anyone experienced the same problem?
Hi @DenissonWenergy ,
According to your description, when you add a column in MySQL it doesn't show the column you added on the power bi service. You can do the following steps to confirm if the problem still occurs:
1. Ensure that the local data gateway is running properly and the version is up to date.
2. In the Power BI service, trigger a manual refresh. This action prompts Power BI to query the MySQL database through the gateway again. If the gateway and connection are configured correctly, the new columns in the dataset should be included. When you add a new column to the data source you need to refresh the dataset through the gateway to get the latest data.
You can refer to this document to check your gateway settings:

That would be a question for your Power Query. Check for a Table.SelectColumns step.
