Problem with add admin to Power BI Gateway - AAD Application
Hi,
I need help. I try add my AAD Application ( https://portal.azure.com/#view/Microsoft_AAD_RegisteredApps/ApplicationsListBlade ) and created here: https://app.powerbi.com/embedsetup/UserOwnsData to Power BI Gateway admin. In gateway Manage users not found application, only users.
I need add AAD Application as Admin, becouse needed use this call: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/gateways/get-gateways and https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/gateways/get-datasources . Now i get empty list for get gateways, and "PowerBINotAuthorizedException" when try get datasources.
I found a solution. You should use PowerShell version 7 minimum and the command:

Please try to set the API permissions for AAD Application in the Azure Portal.

If this post helps, then please consider Accept it as the solution to help the other members find it more quickly.My AAD app in "Power BI Service" group has full permission. Are you talking about a specific permission in others group? I search "gateway" and nothing found in others type permission.
