Hi JPConseil ,

Sharepoints source if present in the same cloud as the Power BI Semantic Model can refresh on schedule. But this may not be the case with other sources. In your case PostgreSQL if present in same Private cloud as the semantic model, then check if you have a gateway configuration done for this. You might also have to check if the gateway is correctly configured for the Postgresql. 

 

One more thing you can check is, if there are any other semantic models already present consuming from the same postgresql and refreshing on a regular basis from Power BI Service, do check if there is any difference in connection / authentication between your report and the other report

Hi Thejeswar , and thank you for your repply. 

 

As far as I know, 

  • Every authentication has been approved in Power BI for sources (Sharepoint and PostgreSql)
  • Every sources are in the cloud and do not need specific Gateway ? PostgreSql is a datawarehouse owned hosted by the company, but I got access with the required credentials.. 

Do you think I should apply a Gateway for such sources ?
