Problem in semantic model activities setting on Data Pipeline back to no selection when reopen again
Hi HelloTheSun ,
Thanks for sharing the details and screenshots it definitely sounds frustrating to have to reconfigure the semantic model activity every time you reopen the pipeline, even though the pipeline itself runs fine.
To help understand the issue more clearly and provide better suggestions, could you please clarify a few things
-
Which region is your Fabric workspace hosted in, and are you using a trial or a fully licensed workspace?
-
What browser are you using when you're editing and saving the pipeline (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Firefox)?
-
Is this problem happening with all semantic models, or only one specific model you're working with?
-
Are other pipeline activities saving their configurations correctly, or is it only the Semantic model refresh activity that resets after saving and reopening?
-
How often are you reopening the pipeline and noticing that the activity settings are reset?
For example, is it immediately after saving and closing, or only after several hours or days? -
After the pipeline runs successfully the first time, does the second or scheduled run also complete successfully even if the settings appear blank when you reopen the activity?
Looking forward to your response this will help in narrowing down the root cause or suggesting a workaround.
Best regards,
Lakshmi Narayana
And now I have another problems in semantic model activity.
I try to set the partial refresh in some of tables in my model but when I click in "Tables" dropdown when load finished, it pop up the text "No results found"
Please advise me if you have anyway to solve this problems or other ways how to apply the partial refresh with specific tables such as use the parameter with "Add dynamic content"
Thank you and best regards,
