Pro Vs Premium
trying to find out what the diffrences is, does anyone have any websites with detailed answers.
i need pro to create reports,
if we pay the $5000 a month for premium does this mean i can't create reports?
Hi NewbieJono ,
Pro and Premium:
For short, Pro is for per-user basis but Premium is for capacity.
Share:
- Pro share content only can be reciver by pro or PPU. But Premium is a capacity, it has no abiity to share any content but the content in premium capacity can be shared to free users.
Scheduled Refresh:
- as you said 48 times for Premium, but a little wrong, for datasets in premium capacity.
Dataset size:
- Pro 1GB
- Premium : The dataset can then be refreshed to up to 12 GB in size.
Others:
- Paginated reports, Premium features unique to Dataflows, Deployment pipelines...
More detail please refer this article.

I suggest reading: License types and capabilities, as well as the next paragraph Subscription license types.
In short:
- You need Pro to publish reports to a workspace and share them with others
- Premium capacity is to share with multiple users that only need to consume (so not build) the report. A pro license is still needed to publish though.

thanks for this, what are the additional benifits of Premium.
i can see the insights feature, and 48 refreshes. is there any examples of anything else?
is insights just not availble through pro?
