Pro Trial License question

So, my company has me working with a pro trial license, and we have a workspace with a pro license, I created an app for the workspace with the reports that I uploaded on it, and now I can't update the mentioned app.

I know they put me as admin in said workspace but I think being on a trial pro license is the reason for me to not be able to update the app.

Is the problem my trial license or something to do with licenses?

Generally, there are 2 reasons why you cant update an app:
1. You dont have the correct workspace Role. In this case you have Admin,  which is correct.

2. You license has expired. But if you can still access the workspace, then it means it is still active.

Can you elaborate what you mean by "cant update app"? Can you not see the update app button? or you can see it, but its greyed out?

I can't see the update app buton, nor any of the other on the right that appear on your image, I starting to think I lost the admin privilege somehow?

i'd think so. Check with the workspace admin, what role you have. Contributor role can also update app, if the setting is enabled in the workspace setting

Hi,

If your trial is on going this should not be The case. However If you are on free license some of the collaboration features are disabled as described here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/fundamentals/service-features-license-type
