Pro License not working for external share user
Problem: An external user has thier own Pro License. When they log onto PowerBI, it says "Pro Account" on the drop down menu under thier name. When my company shares a report with this user, and the user clicks on the invite email, powerbi is telling him he doesn't have a Pro License.
How can this be? How can this be fixed?

We tried refreshing. Also, I was impacted by the earlier issue , but MS seemed to have fixed that and we didn't need to do anything to fix it.
So as I alluded to in my second comment, the invite that is sent when the user's external email address is entered for the first time (ie: no yellow auto-fill drop down appears as the email address is entered) did not seem to work.
When I removed sharing from him, and then reshared, and the yellow auto-fill drop down did have his EXT entry, that invite seemed to work.

JPacella312 - Doesn't sound correct. You are sharing it with his external user ID and not some internal account, right? I do remember that there was like an extra step to get an external user to be able to see a report, like setting view access at the workspace level or something, been a while and might have changed.
If all else fails, You could check the Issues forum here:
https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues
And if it is not there, then you could post it.
If you have Pro account you could try to open a support ticket. If you have a Pro account it is free. Go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".- JPacella312Helper I
There's some inconsistancy with the Auto-fill of external users. Sometimes it will generate their long form identity on the fly , and other times it will store only their foreign domain name without the extension, and I think this causes some sort of mismatch.

1. Something that update to pro license pops up incorrectly, please refresh the web page and try again.2. There was a issue for externally shared content announced earlier this year, Power BI Pro customers trying to access it from a different Tenant may encounter a message asking to “Upgrade to Power BI Pro”. You can create a support ticket here.
