I have a test dashboard where I've pinned a single line chart from a report in it.
I cannot get it to preview or print to PDF correctly. I'm using WIndows 10 with all updates and Edge browser. Problem also confirmed on Ubuntu running Chrome browser (screenshots below all Windows / Edge combo),
This is what my test dashboard looks like:
Print options move visuals to far right of page, cutting off most of the content.
This is what the 'Microsoft Print to PDF' option looks like (in fact all my printing options look like this but I'm demonstrating this one which I think is pretty common among most Windows 10 users):
Changing orientation, scaling, margins change the size but not the overall messed up layout and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
This is supposed to be used by senior management / board for correct view and option to print and I'm under pressure to figure out what's going on. Any help is appreciated.
Moving this one tile one 'slot' to the right does change the print view but in a way I can't figure out as it seems to look like a type of mirrored aligned orientation - as in the more right I move the tile, the more left it looks in the Print display.
In the screen shots below, I'm moving the tile 1 'slot' to the right, then selecting File - Print and using the Microsoft Print to PDF option.

I raised a call with Microsoft and yesterday they have come up with the following as the solution:
- Open the dashboard in full-screen mode
- Set the dashboard to 'Fit Width' (bottom right corner of the screen you'll see those options pop up):
Now the print option will not cut off any of the tiles. The only downside is it will fill the page so if you have only 1 tile, that tile will fill up the page in the print out. I guess you could include a blank text tile towards the bottom right corner so when it scales to fit it should scale around the blank text tile.
I had a test to print my tile to PDF, and I reproduced the issue like yours.
When my tile is in left, it seems to show a mirror(right) in my print. I couldn't print whole tile, just a part of it.
According to this article:
You might need to adjust Edge/Chrome settings.
Or just change the tile postion to print it correctly.
I found move it to right, I can print it to PDF correctly.

Thank you for your help however your answer did not resolve the issue. The fix/workaround is to do as I last replied so I have marked my response as the answer.
It is not a browser setting issue. The issue is consistent over different broswers running on different OS platforms.
Trying to re-arrange tiles to suit printing that will, by testing and confirmation, end up with odd looking tile placements in the browser view is also not what I believe to be a reasonably acceptable workaround either.
