Preventing chart format changes when publishing .pbix to service

I've created a report in the desktop client that's laid out the way I'd like:  Screenshot

However, when I publish the report to the Power BI service, I find that my charts have been reformatted (y-axis height changes, x-axis label format changes), and no longer match:  Screenshot

How can I prevent these changes from happening, and ensure that what I see in the desktop client will be faithfully reproduced when publishing to the service?

Was this issue resolved?  My published reports are not retaining the format set in Power BI Builder.  Font and alignment change when published.

Hi, did you find a resolution to this issue? I'm having a similar problem where my formatting is changed when published to the point where they're hiding some of the data points and labels

Hi @A_S00 ,

I have tested on my side and it works well on Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Internet Explore browsers. This may be a bug.

Please update your Power BI Desktop to the latest version. And do the same for your browser. Then clear browser cache and try it again.

If the issue is still there and you are a pro user, I suggest you to create a support ticket to get further help.

Hi @A_S00 ,

You can try to keep "Lock objects" selected to lock all objects on the canvas so that they can't be moved or resized.

Thanks, Icey, but that doesn't appear to have worked.

Checking "Lock Objects" in the desktop client prevents me from dragging my charts around, but it doesn't do anything to fix how they look after publishing to the service.  After checking the box, re-saving the file, and re-publishing, the charts are still misaligned just like before.
