In App.powerbi.com how can I turn off the edit option. I don't want a user to make changes to a report and then save those changes.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi @Anonymous ,
If you have build the report (having admin rights) then-
Go to your workspace in Power BI Service.
Find your report.
Click on the three dots (...) next to the report > Manage Permissions.
Make sure users only have "Read" access, NOT "Build" or "Edit".
If someone has "Build" permissions, they can personalize visuals and potentially save views.
Remove "Build" permission if it's there.
Hope this helps!
If the response has addressed your query, please accept it as a solution and give a 'Kudos' so other members can easily find it.
Thank You!
