Preventing a user from editing in power bi.com

In App.powerbi.com how can I turn off the edit option. I don't want a user to make changes to a report and then save those changes.

If you have build the report  (having admin rights) then-

1. Go to your workspace in Power BI Service.

2. Find your report.

3. Click on the three dots (...) next to the report > Manage Permissions.

4. Make sure users only have "Read" access, NOT "Build" or "Edit".

   • If someone has "Build" permissions, they can personalize visuals and potentially save views.

5. Remove "Build" permission if it's there.
