Premium capacity utilization and metrics app

Can there be any other operations taking CPU then Interactive and Background Operations?

In the picture below from the Premium capacity utilization and metrics app, total use of CPU is 57,66%  but Interactive Operation is 30,59% and Background Operations 3,48% wich only sum up to 34,07%.

Is operations from Analyze in Excel not registered as a Interactive operation?

Hi @v-binbinyu-msft ,

I know what the visual shows and how i works. My question is why the total CPU usage of the timpoint in my picture don´t sum up to same figure as  Interactive Operation + Background Operations?

Is it beacause operations from Analyze in Excel is not registered as a Interactive operation? Or what other operations is not visible in Interactive Operation or Background Operations?

Hi @FredrikJ ,

Heartbeat line chart - Shows a 60 minute window of CPU activity. Use this visual to establish the duration of peaks and troughs.

  • Vertical red line - The timepoint you currently drilled to view. The visual shows the 30 minutes of CPU activity leading to the selected timepoint, as well as the 30 minutes of CPU activity after the selected timepoint.

  • Blue line - Total CPUs.

  • Yellow line - The capacity allowance.
