I am trying to find some detailed information on how PBI Premium will perform when used against an an-premise Analysis Service tabular model. Theoretically it should perform well, because all of the querying will take place on the on premise SSAS server. However I am concerned about the "DirectQuery/Live Connection (per sec)" limits mentioned in the documentation (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/admin/service-premium-what-is)
I can't find any information on what these "DirectQuery/Live Connection (per sec)" limits are. Is it the number of users that can connect per second, or is it the number of queries that can be run per second? If it is the number of queries, this will be a problem, as each page that is refreshed may run 10 - 20 queries (if there are many visuals on a page), so this greatly limits the number of people that can refresh a page at any one time.
Does anyone know how this works? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, @cmncp
Indeed there is little documentation on the details.
You can try to search more premium videos, maybe there will be harvest.

Hi, @cmncp
DirectQuery/Live Connection (per sec) means the max number of data sources connected to DQ or LC per sec (used in memory).Don’t worry about each visual query.

Thanks Janey. Is there any documentation of articles explaining that in more detail?
