Pre-filtered report on each update

Dear coleagues PowerBiers,

I would need your help with an specific error I´m trying to resolve:

1. All my dashboards include the persistant filter unavailable to the final users:

2. The incident is that every time I refresh the data, the non persistent filtering stop to be deactivated and I have to configure it manually.

3. It only happens in some reports, but I don't know how I could solve it.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @sec10,

We appreciate your inquiry through the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.

Please find below the steps to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

  1. Verify that the persistent filters are configured correctly in each report. Ensure that the option to allow end users to save filters is disabled.
  2. Apply the filters at the appropriate level. For persistent filters, page-level or report-level filters are generally more effective.
  3. Ensure that the data types of the columns being filtered are accurate (e.g., Date/Time for date filters, Text for text filters, and Number for numerical filters). Incorrect data types can result in unexpected filtering behaviour.
  4. Test the reports locally in Power BI Desktop. Refresh the data and check if the filters function as expected. If the filters behave correctly in Power BI Desktop, the issue may lie within the Power BI service, which can help identify whether it is a service-related concern.

If you find the response helpful, kindly mark it as the accepted solution and provide kudos. Doing so will assist other community members encountering similar queries.

Thank you.

Thank you! It´s resolved finally. I´ve checked each report in Power BI desktop and then I found that all the reports that weren´t working, It was because of I didn´t include the "non pre-filtered" activation inside each .pibx.
