Hi there,
if I use filter(filter included on the report page) within a report and export the result into powerpoint, only the default result is exported and not the values based on the filter.
Best regards,
Daniel

Hi @danielvt,
Please see below limitation from this article:
In-session interactivity such as highlighting and filtering, drill-down, and so on, are not yet supported when exporting to PowerPoint. The exported PowerPoint shows the original visuals as they were saved in the report.
In your scenario, after you change the filter condition, you need to save the report again, then filtered data can be exported to PowerPoint.

This is marked as a solution, but this is not a solution. This is a workaround.
You cannot save a report in Apps. Exporting to PowerPoint without the filters applied is useless.
From what I see, Microsoft is going backwards with the deployment of Apps. It's missing key features that are currently available in Content Packs. PowerPoint exports and managable self-serve report creation will all go away when Content Packs are depricated and Apps are the only thing available.
What is Microsofts directons on this? These are vital functions.
I should clarify.... End users cannot save Apps or make copies of them to modify.
Are there plans to release this functionality? How can we print a filtered report? Printing the report from the online screen does not include the full report.
