Powerbi azureMap multi-select not working anymore

Hello. 

Recently, the default Powerbi visual "azureMap" seems to have lost the ability to multi-select different states by holding down the CTRL key and clicking. I have checked the "Filled Map" and that default visual still allows me to multi-select states. The reason we cant just use the "Filled Map" visual is that the "Filled Map" has next to no visual formatting options - which would be nessary for my leader to see. 

So is there a reason why I cant seem to use CTRL Click on the "AzureMap" Visual (on both desktop and Service) and can that be returned?
