PowerPoint add-in not working with include-my-changes selected

Anyone ran into a case where the PowerPoint add-in for Power BI is not working when you drop in an 'include my changes' link from the 'Share' feature that the changes are not included.  

I know I had done this before to save a report with a specific ULR in the PowerPoint add-in, but I am not sure what has changed or if I'm missing something.  

What I'm trying is:

1. Navigating to the page with filters selected.

2. Click 'Share', click 'People with Existing Access', click 'Apply', check 'Include my Changes', click 'PowerPoint icon', and copy link. 

3. Paste link into the Power BI embed add-in in PowerPoint Online. 

4. Then, changes are not reflected in the visual, and it shows the home report page. 

Found a workaround to use copy URL in the address bar when using report bookmarks, but maybe the temporary bookmarks by clicking 'Include my Changes' aren't working?
