Hi all,
I have recently published a report on service with a considerably large amount of data coming from SQL.
(History of data : I have an azure container that holds this data on a monthly basis. From the Azure data factory, the data comes to dataflow and data flow to report).
I see that the report ends up with this gateway -timeout error every day mostly after every scheduled refresh. Everything comes back to normal when I refresh the data manually.
Can someone please help me with this?
Hi @bds00 ,
Which version of gateway are you using now? If it is not the latest version of gateway, please try to update it to the latest version and check if this issue still exists.
Gateway releases a new update of the on-premises data gateway every month. Currently, Microsoft actively supports only the last six releases of the on-premises data gateway. If you're experiencing issues with the version you're using, try upgrading to the latest one as your issue may have been resolved in the latest version.
Power BI Premium P SKUs support Microsoft Fabric.
With P skus, you can create Power BI content. Share, collaborate on, and distribute Power BI and Microsoft Fabric content.
If your region is under the Fabric availability region, tenant admin can enable Enable Fabric under tenant settings, and you can use the existing P1 SKUs purchased through the education price to use the Fabric-related features directly

I have a premium license.
Hi. Can you share more about the timmings and licenses? for example, pro license has a limitation of 10gb for a table, 1gb for the complete compressed data model or 2 hours refresh timeout.
If data factory and dataflow are refreshing ok, then it looks like dataset is creating the timeout.
I hope that helps,
Happy to help!
