PowerBi Service Fabric Alerts
Hi All,
I am having an issue with Alerts on my powerbi Dashboard. I have the same dataset being used on various pages with different filters. The alerts work on most pages but on some when i go to create it the apply button is grayed out and it doesnt auto-create like it does for the other alerts. I have tried changing type from teams to outlook and apply does allow you to click on it but then i get a red 'network error'. Again this is only on some of the pages in the same report and seems very random as its the same dataset, same measures, same alert. This is new as we have multiple alerts from other dashboards and have not had any problems in the past creating alerts.
Hi jeblacker ,
Please check this point if this is the roort cause of the issue you are facing:Alerts don't have support for co-ownership. If you need to transfer ownership between users, you need to create a new alert.
I hope this information helps. Please do let us know if you have any further queries.
Thank you

Hello !
Thank you for posting on MS Fabric community.
I think your problem is in the dashboard tile itself and not the dataset because alerts are only supported for dashboard tiles that are pinned from report visuals, and only for card, KPI and gauge visuals since they do not work for every tile type and they also do not work for tiles created directly on the dashboard with the add tile from custom streaming data.
I can see that the doc note that alerts can sometimes be unavailable for specific tiles or dashboards in which case you need to check with the PBI admin.

Hi All. Thank you for the responses. To keep it simple, i have created one table and a duplicate of the exact same table. Alert works for one and not the other . Same numerical values on both
