Hi aanyoti 

It looks like the machine running the Gateway you're using does not have the MySQL connector installed on it.

For the Gateway to access data in a MySQL database it's going to need the connector installed.

Hi Burningsuit ,

 

Pardon the delayed response. Still cannot get this to work, installed the connector and still getting the same error. I have no issues working with PowerBI desktop, but PowerBI service continually throws this error.

 

An exception occurred: MySQL: We were unable to find a database provider with invariant name 'MySql.Data.MySqlClient'. This error could've been the result of provider-specific client software being required, but missing on this computer.
